Ezo Smith

Ezo Smith - Foot Health Practitioner

Originally from Turkey and now living with her husband and daughter in the UK, Ezo initially started working with autistic children and very much saw the purpose of her career as always giving care with compassion. It’s what she feels she is most suited to and as such where she is most useful.

Ezo started an apprenticeship in dentistry and worked as a dental nurse for about thirteen years. The last three of which were as a locum nurse in her own business called “Just Filling In”. Working with different dentists and their patients on a daily basis showed her just how much she wanted to be the primary care giver. Initial thoughts of retaining as a dentist in her own right had to give way to the realities of further education and the strong commitment to her husband and daughter.

It was her sister in law who suggested to Ezo the possibility of pursuing a new career in foot health. As a result of attending an open day she realised this was the way ahead for her. Ezo is now a qualified Foot Health Practitioner and has her own practice at the Thames Valley Foot Clinic in Wash Common Newbury. Her declared mission is to help you make your feet feel better, which she undoubtedly achieves.

There is something about the prospect of having ones feet ‘worked on’ that puts so many people in a state of acute embarrassment and discomfort. Ezo however has a delightfully calm witty nature and way of working that dispels all of these issues. Within a very short while of walking into her immaculately clean consulting room one is very much put at ease and with shoes and socks removed, you are sitting comfortably and peacefully watching her work and putting that mission of hers into practice.

This short photo story featuring Ezo is a gentle introduction to this remarkably kind, compassionate and professional lady who makes you feel so much better about your feet and possibly yourself.

Wishing you fair light and full frames
